Music has been my lifelong love-turned-career, spanning years of being a musician and songwriter, to working on the industry side with artists and composers.

I started this record project in 2022 after having little luck finding vinyl representing artists from Asia, the Pacific, and the diaspora in U.S. record stores. My goal is to build a diverse catalog that allows access to, celebrates, and inspires these rich musical heritages of past, present, and future.

Year of the Tiger represents the birth years of myself, my mother, both my grandmothers, and this record project. It’s a name that embodies the resilience and inspiration handed down through generations.
